Car Wars: Albert Road Update

Had an unofficial notice plastered on your car? We're on the case.

It has been brought to our attention that unofficial notices (pictured below) have again been added to student cars in the Albert Road area, and many of you are understandably upset.

Not only is the information contained in these notices incorrect, the tone is quite threatening and creates a conflict that is not reflective of the relationship between students and local residents.

What's being done about it?

The issue has been forwarded to the community policing team, with Runnymede Beat (Surrey Police) issuing a statement on their Facebook page which clearly outlines the expectations for both students and non-students.

The College will also be represented at the Councillor’s Surgery in Englefield Green on Saturday morning where the issue of parking is likely to be discussed.

A little reminder

Please remember, incidents like this are driven by a small number of individuals and the vast majority of students and local residents get on extremely well.

As always, we would like to encourage you that we have your back on this issue, and we look forward to a swift resolution on the matter.
