Driven Round the Bend: A Call to Commuting Students

Want to be a part of solving issues for commuting students? Then look no further!

We try and represent as many students as possible at RHSU, but we know that there are often difficulties in doing this. There are some groups that we often struggle to reach - commuting students is one of these groups. This is why we’re launching a research project specifically into the issues that commuting students face, and how we can go about solving or lessening these issues. We’ve launched this off the back of a series of Bright Ideas submitted last year which dealt specifically with problems around commuting. We want to know more about the experiences of commuting students across campus, and we want to give you the opportunity to get your voice across.

How can I help?

So, do you want to voice your thoughts on what it’s like to be a commuting student at Royal Holloway? We’ll be putting on a series of focus groups with Students’ Union staff, as well as Senior Management from the university, where we’ll be asking questions about your life as a commuting student, and how we can make it a little bit easier for you.

If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, you can sign up here!
