Need some fun activities to get you through Summer Term? We've got you covered with everything from free ice cream to a relaxing pamper session!
Summer Term is almost upon us, so it's time to announce the next batch of Give It A Go events, as we seek to keep you sane until the end of the academic year!
Once again, term two was packed full of amazing experiences, such as inflatable crazy golf in the SU Main Hall, and a free makeup masterclass. It wouldn't be Give It A Go without Pets as Therapy (we love the doggos!) and Reptile Experience, while our Crafternoons saw you decorate everything from coasters to flower pots. We enjoyed day trips to Portsmouth and Oxford, while there were a number of beginners classes (Italian, Japanese, and sign language), as well as an introduction to Flamenco. And that's only scratching the surface!

What's term three got in store?
Well, we're glad you asked! We know Summer Term is a gruelling one, with exams, revisions and deadlines to meet, so we're putting on a number of events that will tie in with our Stressbusters campaign, as we look to put your mind at ease and ensure you're taking care of your wellbeing at what can be a highly stressful time of year.
We're kicking things off on Thursday 2 May with a Free Swimming Session courtesy of Royal Holloway Swimming Club (these will be running every week until the end of term), while Mindful Meditation and Mini Massages will be returning, as well as Postgraduate Afternoon Tea.
Crafternoons will of course be running, with glitter jars and friendship bracelets among the items you can get creative with. Cupcake Decorating, Movie Nights... the list goes on!
We've got a triple bill of animals on campus for Petting Zoo, Reptile Experience and Pets as Therapy, and we'll be running another two day trips, with Bicester Village designer shopping outlet and sunny Bournemouth both on the schedule.
Our Pop Up Ice Cream Parlour will be back in Tommy's Lounge on Friday 24 May, when we'll also be holding a Student Jumble Sale!
How do I get involved?
As long as you're a Royal Holloway student, you can get involved with as many activities as you like, many of which are completely free! Simply head over to our events page and have a look at what's on offer. For any ticketed events, you can purchase these through the website or the RHSU app.
