Hiya everyone!! My name is Olivia (Liv), and I am your President for 2025/2026.

>> About Me

  • I graduated from Royal Holloway with a Law LLB degree and I was President of Mentality and Women Students’ Community Officer.
  • I was VP Wellbeing & Diversity 2024/25. So, this is my second year as a Sabbatical Officer.
  • I am Welsh and proud.
  • I LOVE musical theatre so if there is any chance to sing a song from Wicked or Hamilton I am there!

>> Why I ran for president

Last year, I was lucky enough to be VP Wellbeing & Diversity and got to do some amazing things from working with the incredible Community Officers to Women’s Only Gym Hours to campaigns like MENtion it and everything in between.

I absolutely loved every second of being VP Wellbeing & Diversity and I felt like I had more to give to representing students, so I applied to be President and was lucky enough to be re elected in and I am so beyond grateful that I get to do this for another year.

If anyone has any question or would like to chat about anything please do not hesitate to pop me a message on Instagram @rhsupresident or email me president@su.rhul.ac.uk

>> Priority 8

More Financial Support

My first priority is increasing accessibility and availability of financial support for all students on campus. This Priority will highlight the support available to you, introduce you to the teams across the University and Students’ Union, lobby for further financial support, introduce new initiatives and there will even be a campaign week surrounding everything finance and give you the chance to have your say about what you need.

Parking

My second priority is improving parking on the Egham campus. With too few spaces for students, and heavy congestion on campus during rush hour, this priority will advocate for suitable solutions to directly address this issue, and improve campus accessibility for commuting students and staff.

>> What I’m excited for…

To be completely honest I am just excited to be here for another year, I still do not think it has sunk in yet. I cannot wait to see what my incredible team do this year with the Priority 8. We also might be bringing back a certain podcast so keep an eye out for that.
