Priority 8 Update Part Two: President

Hiya everyone, here is part two of my priority 8 update! 

Parking 

• We have some very exciting news on the Parking Priority. Due to conversations with the University since July and all your feedback (thank you to everyone who came to the parking focus group/ key chain making event) we have some updates for you. 

• Firstly, starting 1 December there will be a Royal Holloway Park and Ride for permit holders that will introduce 80 more spaces. This will run from Huntersdale car park (GU25 4LW) Find the site on What3Words (gold.cabin.league) and this will be completely free. All you have to do is park your car and a bus will come every 15 minutes at peak times and every 30 minutes throughout the rest of the day, from Monday to Friday during term time. 

• You will also be able to claim a free hot drink for every three return journeys. 

• Secondly, students with permits can officially park in ALL of the car parks on the Egham campus. 

• Thirdly, the University is currently looking at further short-term solutions: MORE UPDATES COMING SOON. 

• The University is exploring options for long-term solutions, including options for a possible multi-story car park. 

• Finally, based off data gathered last academic year we have developed a busy times infographic for all the car parks.
