Our mission is pretty simple – to make student life better at Royal Holloway. But how do we know that we’re achieving this? Well, that’s where you come in.

As members and regular users of our services, you’re best placed to tell us what we’re getting right and more importantly, where we can improve. That's why each year we run our Rate Your Union survey so that we can make decisions directly based on student feedback.

While we've had to cut back on our plans a bit this year due to the current situation (there would usually be a fun video with a conveyor belt full of daily prizes to be won), we're still offering up some great cash prizes as an extra incentive to give us your views. One lucky winner will receive £150 cash straight into their bank account, with £50 (x5) also up for grabs. Not bad, huh?

Your feedback plays a huge role not only in helping to improve your overall university experience but also in determining our wider decision-making as a Union, so do the sensible thing and get answering!

The survey closes on Sunday 14 June.

What does the survey cover?

Your Union

The core section of our annual Rate Your Union survey, this is your chance to tell us what you really think about us and our activities and services that you've interacted with this year. You'll also have a chance to tell us what improvements you'd make - we'll collate all of your feedback and use it within our strategic planning to ensure we provide a better experience for you going forward.

Housing

As well as giving us your feedback on the Union and our services, this year’s survey also has a section dedicated to Housing – an area we’re looking to conduct extensive research in next year. We understand that housing plays a key part in your overall university experience and your feedback will help shape our future lobbying efforts and the services and support (such as the Advice Centre and HouseSearch) we offer as a Students' Union.

Covid-19 Response and Future Planning

Finally, you’ll have the opportunity to let us know your thoughts on our response to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and what you would like us to focus on / prioritise ahead of an academic year filled with uncertainty and change.
