Speak week is back!
Speak Week is back and we’re ready to hear from you! From 27 October – 2 November, we’ll be spending the week asking one big question ‘What issue around your student experience would you like to see prioritised by your Sabbatical Officers?’. This could be anything from the events on offer to campus facilities and learning resources to academic support and anything in between.
Last year, we received a whopping 347 responses and you can check out a breakdown of the results here! Since then, a lot of the feedback raised has been taken forward by your Sabbatical Officers to work on as part of their Priority 8 goals so why not check them out ahead of this year’s Speak Week?
What matters to you
All activities that we carry out as part of Speak Week are open to ALL students. Whether you’re an Academic Rep, Community Officer, member of a student group, media group, or none of the above. This week is for all of you, and we encourage you to take part in any way that you can.
You can get involved by submitting a response through the SU website, replying to a question box on SU Instagram stories or come along and find us on the following days:
Tuesday 28 October – 11:30-14:30 at Market Day (SU Plaza)
Wednesday 29 October - 11:30-14:30 at the EWD Building (Library)
Thursday 30 October - out and about on campus
If you want to stay up-to-date with Speak Week, SU news, events and more, keep an eye on our socials! If you have any questions feel free to contact voice@su.rhul.ac.uk and a member of the team will be able to help!
What’s next
Once we’ve gathered your thoughts on what you’d like to see change, we'll collate the feedback and identify the top ideas you’ve put forward. These will then make up the basis of what will be brought to University-level discussions and decision-making.
