The role is voluntary and by application, all you need to do is answer a few questions. Take a look at the role description to see what we are looking for. There may be a telephone follow up, but we will let you know via email if we would like to talk to you. Applications open Friday 19 October and closes on Friday 9 November at midday.
The group will be made up of students and work with our trading team to look at planning for some of our major events across the year. You will get a greater understanding of what goes into planning our function nights and how we approach major events like the Summer Ball. Supported by our team, you will get to look at the planning processes and give us your opinions around our plans. There will also be chances for you to feedback on what we have delivered so we can make sure our activities are delivering a great experience for students.
We are really keen to see what we can achieve by working with this group and we feel it will be a great experience for students who are interested in our trading functions at the SU. If you have a keen interest in events or are looking to work in the events industry this will be a great opportunity for you.
