As your Students’ Union we’re passionate about your student experience and working on the issues which matter most to you. The RHSU Priority 8 initiative is a way to ensure your voice is heard during the upcoming Leadership Elections, and that the work done by your elected Sabbatical Officers is truly student-led.
Using data collected through surveys, Rate your Union, Speak Week, NSS feedback and Student Executives, we have collated 20 key themes and concerns which matter to you. These vary from improving campus facilities, supporting mental health services, enhancing academic experiences, or tackling sustainability.
Voting for what matters to you!
The upcoming Leadership Elections give you the opportunity to vote for who will represent you as the Sabbatical Officers during the 2026/27 academic year but that’s not all…You can also give your opinion on what they should be focusing on by ranking which 8 out of the 20 themes and issues are most important to you.
By voting for your Priority 8, you are voicing where our efforts and resources should be focused, which will be communicated to the wider student population using an action plan, the progress of which you can keep up to date with on our website.
And just so you know, we commit to always campaign for liberation issues and as such these are not included in the RHSU Priority 8.
