About us

The Indian Society at Royal Holloway University of London serves to promote the extravagantly rich Indian Culture and Heritage. It aims to promulgate the essence of India within London in order to build and sustain a community.

The Society aims to endorse the intricate beauties of the diverse Indian culture amongst people from all ethnic backgrounds.

It strives to highlight the growth of India and its influence in political, economic and social arena's at global level and inculcate a feeling of pride, patriotism and affection for India and Indians within the University.

Membership

Membership fee - £3.00

Purchasing Indian Society Membership will give every member early access to every events and activities organised by Society.

Events and Activities

The Society organises various events in a year, ranging from festival celebrations, cultural evening, sports tournaments, Bollywood club nights, Social activities and educational events.

The Indian Society have WhatsApp group to welcome new members and answers any questions they have.

Autumn Elections 2025

This election will fill positions for our remaining Community Officers, who are there to represent underrepresented groups of students on campus and the last five members of our Societies, Sports and Opportunities Executive, who work with the VP Societies and Sport to develop policy and plans in their area of engagement. As well, this election will elect the final School Rep for the School of EPMS.
