Welcome to the Criminology Society !

Our society is dedicated to fostering a vibrant community of individuals with a shared interest in criminology. Whether you're a criminology student or simply curious about the field, there's a place for everyone. The overall ethos of the society is to spark interest with thin the area behind your degree and hopefully build friendships with like-minded individuals.

This is what we hope to offer:

1. Events - From guest speakers in the field of criminology to panel discussions, we will aim to host a diverse range of events designed to deepen your understanding of criminology 

2. Socials - There will also be a range of more releaxed events ranging from pub socials to movie nights which we hope will allow people to socialise and create friendships.

3. Supportive community - At the heart of our society is a supportive and inclusive community where members are encouraged to share ideas and support each others academic and personal growth

Summer Elections 2024

This election period will elect all the student leaders within our student groups, as well as our unfilled Community Officer positions, who are there to represent underrepresented groups on campus, and members of our Societies, Sports and Opportunities Executive, who work with the VP Societies and Sport to develop policy and plans in their area of engagement. For student group elections, if you are a current student and a paid, standard member of any group you can stand and vote for the committee for the coming year. Please note, you must also be a student in the 2024/2025 academic year in order to stand in the election.
