About us

We are a group of bright Tamil students of RHUL. We have a deep interest in sharing our culture and traditions to the rest of the students of RHUL, hoping the fact that they enjoy the events that we will be running this academic year.

We are determined to satisfy the needs of our members who are thriving to learn about the Tamil culture, we are always going to be welcome in any ideas that any members have so please drop down a message!!

Membership

Members will benefit from a free Dance workshop that will run twice a week, which will be so exciting and fun. Our dance workshops will include our famous Gaana sessions, sweet soulful Tamil melody sessions and many more.

Also, get the chance to meet other Tamil societies from different University, we will hold events where we will perform dances, or games night giving you the opportunity to meet more people to make more friends!!!!

Events and Activities

Over this academic year, we will hold many events virtually and physically. Due to the pandemic and new rules being set, holding big events will be difficult, but we will make sure to try our best to do activities that will make our members happy.

Hockey Community Election 2025/26

This election will elect all student leaders within Hockey. For Student Groups, you must be a current Royal Holloway student and a fully paid, standard member of the group to vote.
