About us

The RHUL Vegan Society strives to be a place for anyone vegan or open to veganism to come together and enjoy our events and a sense of community with like-minded people.

We engage in social activities on a regular and frequent basis, and are always open to new event ideas - we aim to really provide whatever you want from this society, so that theres a little something for everyone.

Membership

Purchasing a membership to the Vegan Society will give you access to discounts to our paid events. It will also give you the opportunity to join our members-only group chat, in which we get to know each other better, share recipes, and more.

It is also a great way for us to get feedback from members, as we really like to involve you in deciding what events we are going to put on, when we host them, etc.

We are always open to new ideas! On top of this, members can receive a Vegsoc badge with our logo on it, which you can pin on whatever you like! We have purposefully set a low price for our society membership fee, as we want to be as accessible as possible.

That said, if you do think you'll enjoy joining in our society, we encourage you to buy a membership, as it helps us to continue putting on the majority of our events for free!

Events and Activities

Over the course of the year we host a good variety of events. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Potlucks
  • Restaurant trips
  • Vegan Bake Off
  • Pub quizzes and nights
  • Movie nights
  • Debates
  • Activism
  • Our annual animal sanctuary trip
