WELCOME
We are the award-winning, official performance choir of Royal Holloway.
Our non-auditioned choir is open to anyone who loves to sing, wants to try something different or is looking for an excuse to have fun – for us, it’s not just about the singing, it’s about the experience. Whether you see yourself as the next Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding or Freddie Mercury, we want you in our choir!
SOCIALS
We love hosting a range of socials: regular casual drinks after rehearsal, London theatre trips, and extreme fancy dress at the Come In Your Socs SU night – we’ve won Best Dressed for our Smurf and Minion nights!
We have a new event every week and are open to ideas from members!
REHEARSALS
We rehearse every Monday and Thursday evening – don’t worry if you can’t make both, we work on a different song each night so you won’t miss out!

SHOWS
A Night At The Theatre – Our first performance of the year with all of the other performance societies!
The Voices’ Christmas Concert – Fairy lights, mince pies and everyone’s favourite Christmas songs.
The Masters of Show Choir Competition – The only inter-university show choir competition! Our choir performs in front of professional judges on a West End Stage. (Auditions are just before Christmas!)

Standard – Here by popular demand! If you love to sing in the shower or dance in your room, you're not alone, now you can share your love for the arts with others without having to perform to an audience. Join us for our trips, talks, and toast nights! And before I forget, discounts on all the events we host!

FAQ
Q: Where is Munroe Fox Lecture Theatre (MFLT), Wettons Annexe, or Jane Holloway Hall?
A: MFLT can be found between the Students Union and Bourne Laboratory, Wettons Annexe is across the road from Founders, and Jane Holloway Hall is in the Forest! All the locations are shown on the map. Otherwise you can message any of the committee or the Facebook page for help.
Q: What do I wear to rehearsals?
A: Anything comfortable, on any day we may be singing or dancing! Sporty clothes are recomended, but definitly not necessary.
Q: Can I eat during rehearsals?
A: We have a break in the middle of rehearsals for dinner! You can eat something brought from home or go down to the campus shop.
Q: Is it possible to attend only part of a rehearsal?
A: No, unless you are feeling unwell. It is important to attend the whole rehearsal out of respect for fellow members, as this makes it more difficult for them if a person is missing.
Q: I like to sing and dance, but don't want to perform. Can I join?
A: Yes! Rehearsals are for the members that will perform, but regular socials will give you pressure free oportunities to relax and have fun.
