Royal Holloway Men's Football offers players who join a wide range of activities. We currently have 4 teams, with each team having multiple training sessions per week held on the 3G pitch. To join Men's Football you must participate in our trials process which is set to take place in September during Fresher's Week - follow our instagram for updates on this.
All teams compete in BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) on Wednesdays, whilst on Saturdays all of our teams compete in LUSL (London Universities Sports League). Alongside the football, we also regularly run club socials as well as joint socials with other clubs.
These usually range from special events such as our welcome drinks, Christmas dinner and boat party in the summer to individual team socials.
Joining Men's Football also allows members access to go on tour with other members of the club. This trip ran successfully from 2017-2019, returning in 2022 with trips to Italy, Malta, Spain and Greece and we are already underway planning for another trip in 2024!
Following trials, the purchase of membership allows access to your teams' competitive games and socials. It will also allow you the opportunity to go on our tour, many other club-wide socials we hold and access to training sessions. Once you have paid membership there are no match fees!
The fee required goes towards all costs of running the club, such as socials, travelling costs, refereeing fees and equipment.
We are very excited to welcome any new members to the club and we will be hosting trials for people wanting to join. Follow our Instagram @rh_mensfootball and keep posted for all information regarding trials.
This election will fill positions for our remaining Community Officers, who are there to represent underrepresented groups of students on campus and the last five members of our Societies, Sports and Opportunities Executive, who work with the VP Societies and Sport to develop policy and plans in their area of engagement. As well, this election will elect the final School Rep for the School of EPMS.
