Description: Community Officer Induction is a mandatory session designed to introduce new Community Officers to their role, key responsibilities, and the ways in which inclusion communities support students. By the end, Community Officers will feel prepared and empowered for a year of campaigning and championing liberation and underrepresented communities.

Description: Running a campaign is a session developed for all Student Leaders to learn how to lead, run and successfully complete a campaign. Campaigns can take various forms from raising awareness through a week of action with engaging events and social media content, to lobbying for meaningful change. RHSU is here to support you throughout the process. This session will outline the support available and provide you with training and a campaigns toolkit.

Description: This session will introduce new committee members to their role in student groups and within the Students’ Union. We will cover the key information to be able to operate both in Term 1 and throughout the rest of the year. This session covers some essential tasks and processes to be carried out over the summer that will enable your committee to hit the ground running for the 2025/26 academic year. It also contains a timeline of the key dates over the next few months and provides an overview of Governance and Democracy, Codes of Conduct, Freshdesk, Resource Booker, Google Drive and more.

Description: Is your group going to be driving to fixtures and events frequently? This session is designed to equip committee members and valid drivers with the knowledge they need for booking 9 seater mini-buses with the Students' Union. This session covers the rules, costs and insurance details for vehicle hires. Please be aware that the inductions are more designed to get drivers added to our authorised drivers list, but please do attend if you are seeking general knowledge on our rules and regulations regarding vehicle hire.

Description: This session provides all treasurers with a detailed understanding of their responsibilities and the processes involved with student group finances, as well as a brief introduction to Basecone and Ezora. This includes how the different accounts work, how you can spend money using expense claims, invoices and purchase requests, and how money can be paid into your group account. This session will also go over how you can apply for funding from the Students’ Union, explain how to create a budget sheet and set your membership prices.
