Student Voice Conference.

Following the success of last year's event, Student Voice Conference is back for 2023!

Across Term Two, we’re running a number of activities to hear about the things that are important to you, and most importantly, identify solutions.

Last month, we asked you one big question:

‘What one change would you like to see at Royal Holloway?’

Through our website and Instagram, you submitted a grand total of 248 ideas. Since then, we've taken the time to analyse all of the submissions and have identified three top themes:

Student Support Services // Campus Facilities // Students' Union Services

Whether you’re an academic rep, Collective convenor, member of a student group, media outlet (or you’re just keen to create change at Royal Holloway), this conference is for ALL of you and we encourage you to take part in any way that you can. Almost every day of the week will feature a different activity so you can discuss your thoughts and help us move forward to create change.

Student Support Services with Shrijeet Shrey: 20th February 2pm - 3pm; Queens 170; We're kicking off Student Voice Conference by discussing the current extenuating circumstances and extensions policies at Royal Holloway, as well as the careers support available while you study and beyond.; Alcohol-free | Student Voice

Campus Facilities with Hannah Hockin: 21st February 2pm - 3pm; Queens 170; Join VP Societies and Sport, Hannah Hockin, for a discussion about campus facilities, including study spaces and the library, social spaces, parking, accommodation, and sports facilities.; Alcohol-free | Day | Student Voice

Students, Universities, and the Climate Crisis: What Can We Do?: 22nd February 2pm - 3pm; Online; Enactus Society, Royal Holloway Principal Julie Sanders, and People and Planet join SU President Maia Jarvis for a panel discussion on sustainability at Royal Holloway.; Alcohol-free | Day | Online | Student Voice

Students' Union Services (Safety and Security) with Maia Jarvis: 24th February 2pm - 3pm; MOOREAX-034A; For the last day of Student Voice Conference, chat with SU President Maia Jarvis about SU safety and security services.
