School of Rock ft. The Kopycat Killers
It's the return of the biggest rock night on campus! With an appearance from The Kopycat Killers, expect to jam out to all of The Killers hits including Mr Brightside whilst you're a few VKs deep. After their performance, DJs will be dropping rock tunes all night long. Expect air guitar competitions and of course, a lot of head-banging. If your neck needs a break, fear not - we'll also have a second room playing all the hottest chart tracks.
The Kopycat Killers formed when frontman Stuart was told for the 200th time at one of his own gigs (in his originals rock band Lux Lisbon) that he 'sounds just like that bloke out of The Killers' and, being a huge fan, thought, "well why not!" He set about assembling his band from his contacts in both the London and Newcastle rock scene, all of the highest calibre and to a man incredible and hugely experienced rock musicians with university degrees in their respective instruments.
In Lux Lisbon, Stuart sold out shows at venues that The Killers themselves have played, such as Bush Hall and London Scala. The Kopycat Killers attention to detail is intense, featuring authentic tones and sequenced studio sounds to emulate The Killers' own. Backing musicians, along with the stage wear, instruments, set choice and decoration (including the Killers own famous 'K' keyboard stand), it's all present and correct.
Above all though, the musicianship, energy and atmosphere created is top tier - and as huge fans, they take recreating The Killers wonderful songs and amazing shows very seriously indeed.

Entry guarantee
Tickets will guarantee you entry into the venue until 11pm, after this time entry will be dependent on venue capacity until midnight.
Transferring a ticket
Online tickets may be transferred at the door, on the night of the event, between 10pm and 11pm. Transferals outside of this time need to be completed in person at the wristband exchange - tickets cannot be exchanged any other way. You cannot transfer a ticket and then come back to the event later unless you purchase an additional ticket. If transferring on the door, you will need to enter the SU once you have transferred your ticket.
The person whom you are transferring your ticket to must be present. Please remember that you are responsible for any guests you sign in even if you transfer your own ticket and do not attend.
What to do with your e-ticket
Your College Card will automatically have your ticket added to it once payment is completed online. You simply need to turn up with your College Card and photographic proof of age ID (driving licence, passport, PASS card or government ID) or a signing in wristband and the person who signed you in if you are a guest.
If you feel more comfortable printing your ticket, that’s fine but it’s not needed (and is probably more environmentally friendly if you don’t!)
Signing in a guest
Guests need to be signed in at any of the following locations and times:
Union Helpdesk - 12:00 to 20:00 (on the day of the event)
On the door - 22:00 onwards
This can only be done on the night of the event.
Fast track entry
If you want fast track entry on the night you can exchange your e-ticket for a wristband on the day of the event. These will take place in the following location:
Union Helpdesk - 12:00 to 20:00
Please note that additional ticket holders need to be present when exchanging for a wristband and wristbands must be placed on your arm at the time of collection. We cannot refund any wristbands that are lost between collection and the event start so please look after your wristband.
