In Conversation: Lijia Zhang

Lijia Zhang is a rocket factory worker turned journalist, social commentator, public speaker, and author of 'Socialism is Great!: A Worker’s Memoir of New China', which has received wide critical acclaim and been translated into several languages. Recently, in 2017, she published 'Lotus: A Novel', a novel inspired by a revelation by her grandmother on her deathbed.
