PGR/PGT Study Space Focus Group

Study space has always been a hot topic at Royal Holloway but we recognise that the issues facing postgraduate research (PGR) and postgraduate taught (PGT) students around space to study on campus are different and require specific focus. This is something that has been on our agenda for a few years and has come through in the initial consultation work undertaken in the PGR Student Policy Inquiry led by President Jack O’Neill.

This focus group will be run jointly by VP Education Kate Roberts and members of the Library staff team including Christopher Cipkin, the Director of Library, Learning Support and Culture. The aim of the session will be to have an open dialogue with both PGR and PGT students on the type of space both groups would find most beneficial and look through some potential options on how space in the Emily Wilding Davidson Building may be adapted to better suit their needs.

If you are unable to make this session but would like to feedback your thoughts, please email vpeducation@su.rhul.ac.uk.
