Hideout @ the SU: noon - 6pm; SU Lawn; Grab a burger and chill out in the sun at the Hideout!

Jazz Night - RH jazz collective: 8pm - 10:30pm; The Packhorse; We've got plenty to do, whether you fancy a quick game of pool, foosball, or want to watch the best sports on the telly, with 6 TVs across the pub and Sky Sports and TNT, we'll have all the best coverage.

Market Day: 10am - 4pm; Students' Union; It's Market Day every Tuesday at the SU - grab a tasty hot lunch from one of our international food stalls on the Union Plaza.

Freshers' Fair: 11am - 5pm; Sports Centre/SU Building/Founders' Square; One of the biggest events on the calendar, Freshers' Fair is your chance to come and check out what you can get involved in for the upcoming year. Meet our Student Communities and pick up loads of freebies, including free pizza from Domino's!

Double Down till Late: 5pm - 11:59pm; The Packhorse; Every Tuesday from 5pm, you can double down on a range of items including pints, spirits, and our mouth-watering burgers. Who could say no to that?!

Indie Party ft. Oasis-ed and Arn'tit Monkeys: 8pm - 1am; SU Venue; Its the ultimate BritPop vs Indie showdown so pull out your docs and your parkas and get ready to rock out! Fingers crossed Liam and Noel can make it through one last show together...

Live Music - Breakout: 8pm - 11:59pm; The Packhorse; Head on down to The Packhorse for your live music event, whether it's a comedy night, magician, or a local up-and-coming artist, its the best free night on campus.

Y2K ft. Dubtendo Allstars: 10pm - 3am; SU Venue; Dubtendo Allstars are back from literally every festival this summer to transport us to the 2000s, the era of Nintendo DS, low rise jeans, Britney Spears and frosted tips. Friday nights are leveling up so get ready for the madness!

Sat 27th September

Academic Communities Picnic: 1pm - 3pm; Tommy's Lounge; This is your chance to meet your School and Course Reps, and Academic Community Committee members! Come along and get to know students within your academic department. We'll provide some refreshments and cakes but feel free to bring snacks too!

Freshers Finale: 27th September 2pm - 28th September 4am; SU Venue; It's the last night, the final one... go on, we know you have one more night left in you :) We're switching things up this year so expect music, rides, food and more all afternoon and into the evening, plus the party keeps going until 4am tonight!

Sunglasses Decorating: 2pm - 6pm; Tommy's Lounge; Get a little glam for Freshers Ball and decorate a pair of sunglasses! The perfect accessory for the last bit of summer sun and a memento from Freshers 2025!

Academic Rep Fair: 11am - 2pm; EWD Building; Our Academic Rep fair will be taking place on Thursday 2 October in the EWD Atrium and is a great opportunity for you to meet the reps who will be representing you in Staff-Student Action Meetings throughout the year!

Decorate a Wine Glass: 2pm - 4pm; Tommy's Lounge; Perfect for a night in with the girls, get a little crafty between classes and decorate a wine glass.

Fri 3rd October

Boardgames: noon - 4pm; Tommy's Lounge; Challenge your friends to a nail biting game of Monopoly or break the ice with a game of Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza! If the second game sounds confusing then come on down to give it a go ;)
