Help us celebrate the amazing talent of the queer community at Royal Holloway!

I am very excited to announce that as part of the SU’s LGBTQ+ History Month campaign, I am organising another Queer Creativity Showcase to highlight the amazing talent within our community! I held this event last year and it was a huge success where we showcased the work of over 30 student creatives. The SU will be transformed into a cosy, intimate venue for a chill evening of performances (with drinks and nibbles of course). The event will take place on Monday 20 February at 6.30pm with a run-through/rehearsal taking place 12pm-2pm on the same day. I would love to feature any type of queer art/performance, including (but not limited to):

  • poetry readings
  • musical performances
  • theatre excerpts
  • visual art e.g. drawings, printouts of written work like poetry (these will be displayed around the SU venue)

If you’re interested in taking part, please fill out this Google Form by 5pm Tuesday 31 January. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me at president@su.rhul.ac.uk. I know how much creative talent there is here at Royal Holloway so I cannot wait to hear from you!
