Introducing RHSU Order + Loyalty Rewards

We’re preparing to welcome you back from Study Week with a double dose of great news; we’re launching a brand-new app and Loyalty Rewards scheme for our venues!

That’s right, from Monday 20 February, you’ll be able to enjoy access to food, drink, and some juicy rewards at your fingertips with the RHSU Order app (available to download now from Google Play and the App Store).

The app will enable you to order in multiple ways at both The Packhorse and Tommy’s Kitchen (TK):

• The Packhorse will be offering Table Ordering enabling customers to find a table and use the app to place orders for service to the table.
• Tommy’s Kitchen will be offering Table Ordering and Click & Collect, meaning you can now order from anywhere on campus for an agreed time slot, and arrive at TK to pick up your takeaway order.
• Please note, both The Packhorse and Tommy’s Kitchen sit as unique venues within the app so please make sure you select the correct venue when ordering online.
• If you don’t have access to a smartphone or you prefer to do things the old-fashioned way, you can still order at the bar in both venues.

Loyalty Rewards

Alongside the launch of the app, we’re thrilled to be introducing our new Loyalty Rewards scheme, where you can earn points that can be redeemed against future food and drink purchases.

How does it work?

• You’ll earn 10 points for each £1 you spend in our venues (this includes Medicine and the Union Venue in addition to The Packhorse and Tommy’s Kitchen).
• Once you’ve earned 500 points, you’ll earn a £5 voucher that can be used as full or part payment for a future purchase.
• Ordering on the app? Your points will automatically be added to your in-app Loyalty Card.
• If you’re ordering at the bar (including at our club nights), we'll scan your QR code at the till.

You can’t order drinks at Medicine or the Union Venue via the app, but you can still earn points from every purchase as long as you’ve registered for Loyalty Rewards on the app.

The Union Shop is not included in the loyalty scheme at present as it operates on a different system, but plans are in the works to incorporate it in the future.

How do I register?

• Download the RHSU Order app from Google Play or the App Store.
• Once you’ve downloaded the app, you’ll need to register and then locate the ‘Register for Loyalty Rewards’ tab.
• Enter your details to sign up (you’ll need your College Card number at this point). All student ID numbers have been pre-loaded into the database and will be used to verify your details.
• Once you’ve received an email confirmation of your sign-up, head to ‘My Loyalty Card’ on the app and enter your College Card number again to verify your details.
• Access to Loyalty Rewards is exclusively for students, members of the general public are unable to access the scheme.

Are there any staff perks?

In addition to earning loyalty points, RHSU staff members are entitled to 10% off one transaction per day at Tommy's Kitchen or The Packhorse. The discount will be taken off your whole order, but it must include at least one food item; a drinks-only order will not receive the discount.
