What is Stressbusters?
Stressbusters is our dedicated campaign designed to put a smile on your face, take the pressure off your shoulders, and sprinkle a little positivity into each day throughout exam season.
We understand that exam and assessment time can feel like a rollercoaster. The challenges of relentless revision, time management, and looming deadlines are real, not to mention trying to juggle personal commitments, maintain healthy habits, and find time for self-care. That’s where Stressbusters comes in, offering a wide range of exciting events, insightful articles, social media gems and plenty of support to help you rise above the pressure!
What can I look forward to?
Getting creative!
This Stressbusters we’ve got something for everyone whether you’re a budding artist or just looking to try something new! Come along to one of our artsy afternoons from plant pot painting to charm making and make something you’ll be proud of (or at least have fun trying!)
Getting active!
Whether you’re up for a walk, a run, or just something to boost your mood, these energising sessions will help you feel refreshed, recharged and ready to face the day! From a relaxing stroll around Virginia Water Lake to pop-up games, and a Pilates class, believe us when we say, we’ve got you covered!
Getting fed!
Looking for something a little sweeter? We’ve got the perfect pick-me-ups! Treat yourself at our ice cream sundae station, unwind at our chilled picnic on the field or indulge in some baked goodies at our afternoon tea. Go on, you deserve it!
Getting zen!
Need a moment to just breathe? Come along to our self-care session or wind down with a Disney movie night! Press pause, recharge, and give yourself a little self-love!
Getting support!
From wellbeing drop-ins and advice sessions to walk-and-talks with our support teams, you’ll find plenty of ways to connect, ask questions, and get the support you need.

- 15th of May - Activities and Board Games on Founders Square/south quad 1-4pm - Pop up sporting activities and classic board games available for all to drop in and play.
- 16th of May - Windsor Park Walking Tour
- 20th of May - UV Chill out Area in JH -
A unique space combining movement and relaxation under UV lights. Unwind in deck chairs or try your hand at table tennis and other fun games, all in a chilled-out, welcoming atmosphere. Walking tour around the highlights and best spots of Windsor Park, Runnymede and campus guided round by a staff member from Active Lifestyle and Sport who has knowledge and experience of great places to walk.
