Tell us about yourself

Hello all!

I'm Gauresh Kuradia, a second-year Psychology student from Bombay, India. This year, I'm also your school rep for the School of Life Sciences and the Environment.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, swimming and running. However, my favourite hobby is motorsports, especially Endurance Racing and Formula 1. I've been a professional karting driver for three years, from 2019-2021 and I'm looking forward to making a comeback this racing season!

What made you want to become a School Rep?

Last year, I nominated myself to become a School Rep because I wanted a new challenge, to take on greater responsibilities and an opportunity to give back to Royal Holloway. As your School Rep, I'm excited to have this chance to help students resolve their academic problems, giving them a space to voice their opinions and concerns.

What are you most looking forward to this coming academic year?

After an exciting Freshers' Festival, I'm looking forward to starting the year by attending in-person lectures for the first time. I enjoy face-to-face learning as it allows us to interact with each other and our tutors more, providing better opportunities to build a stronger community feel within our school.

Lastly, if any students in the School of Life Sciences and the Environment have any issues or a suggestion that they'd like to discuss, feel free to message me @gklserep on Instagram.
