After a few torrid months of our venues being closed, we’re thrilled to be launching our Term Three events programme with a whole host of in-person activities for you to enjoy.
As well as the long-awaited return of The Packhorse and MedsBevs, from Monday 26 April we’ll be relaunching Give It A Go where we have a wide range of fun and relaxing opportunities from tomato planting and cloth bag decorating to mindfulness and yoga sessions.

Fancy flexing your creative muscles? Perhaps you'd like to learn a new skill? Or maybe you just want to get involved in something fun and meet new people? That's where Give It A Go (GIAG) comes in - we've got something for everyone with our programme of activities and events, taking place every Monday and Friday throughout Term Three.
After a year dominated by virtual activity, we're over the moon to be relaunching our in-person events starting with a Welcome Back Tea & Coffee Break on Monday 26 April.
Our popular Crafternoons are returning – your chance to get super creative and make/decorate a range of items including Make Your Own Flower Crown (30 April), Cloth Bag Decorating (7 May) and Origami (21 May).
If you’re feeling artsy, why not come along and show off your skills with Star Wars Art (4 May) or Bee Creative for World Bee Day? (20 May)
Maybe Tomato Planting (14 May) or Mocktail Making (17 May) is more your thing? Whatever your passion, there really is loads to get involved with!
If you need to switch off from your studies, take part in our wellbeing-focused events which include a Yoga Session (24 May) and Mindfulness Session (1 June).
For the full list of events, check out the Give It A Go page on our website.
Due to current restrictions, all of the events up until Monday 17 May will be taking place on the Union Plaza (outside the Students’ Union) – hopefully the weather will be kind to us but we do have the canopies to keep you dry should we be met with any rain!
If the strict conditions are met from the government's Roadmap out of Lockdown, we'll hopefully be able to move indoors to Tommy’s Lounge, where all events are scheduled from 17 May onwards.

If you’re looking for an alternative place to meet friends and have a few drinks, Medicine Beer Garden will be reopening from Monday 26 April (Monday-Friday, 18:00-00:00) with the return of MedsBevs where you can enjoy a range of drinks deals including £1 VKs and two cocktails for £8!
Every Wednesday will be Games Night where you can enjoy some friendly competition with UNO and Cards Against Humanity, while later in the term MedsBevs Live will return with live music from a number of local artists including Della B, Kitty Whitelock and Eliot Ash.
From Monday 17 May, assuming government guidance allows us to do so, we’ll be opening up indoors and staying open until 2am on Mondays and Fridays - sounds dreamy, right?!
Entry is completely FREE but you'll need to make an online booking to guarantee entry. 'Rule of Six' applies, meaning you can book a table for up to six people (they can be from multiple households).
Currently, only Royal Holloway students can attend our venues, no guests permitted.

After opening up on Monday 12 April, it’s been so great seeing you back enjoying food and drinks in our beer garden!
This term sees the return of all your weekly favourites with 241 food and drinks at Two for Tuesday, cracking drinks deals and music with Flawless (Urban, Bashment, Grime & Afrobeats) every Wednesday and Transmission (indie bangers) every Thursday, and our Pub Quiz every Sunday.
To make sure you don’t miss out on the latest sporting action, we’ve installed two TV screens outside. With FA Cup, Champions League, and Europa League finals on the horizon, we’ve got you covered with our BT Sport subscription! Check out MatchPint for a full list of the fixtures being shown.
If that isn't enough, we've got Happy Hour every day from 5pm-8pm where you can get your hands on a selection of £2 drinks and £4 cocktails - perfection!
As with Medicine, entry is free but you'll need to make an online booking to guarantee entry (maximum table size six people from multiple households).
Our amazing societies have loads of great stuff lined up for this term - keep your eyes peeled on social media and our events pages for information as and when information is released!
