Free Legal Advice: Zoom Appointments

Here at Royal Holloway Students’ Union we are not able to give legal advice, however lawyer Alex Tribick of WH Matthews has been working with us for over a decade to help students. During term time, he comes in on a monthly basis, to offer free legal advice appointments (of up to 20 minutes) to discuss your case.

The initial appointment is free and will give you a good sense of whether or not you should continue to explore the case. If you then wish to continue with his help, Alex will offer you a great student rate to consider.

Due to the nature of the deal and the work which it can contain, Alex cannot advise or represent on any cases that are against the Students’ Union or the University, as this would create a conflict of interest for the service.

How to book your appointment

If you wish to make an appointment for legal advice, please email advice@su.rhul.ac.uk to grab one of the available Zoom meetings.

The link to the Zoom meeting will be sent to you via email prior to your appointment.

Further support

We appreciate the volume of information being sent your way could be quite overwhelming, so we've created a Coronavirus Hub to give you quick links to key advice, guidance, and our latest news updates. With dedicated pages for housingacademic, and welfare advice, as well as links to government advice and College FAQs, it's your one-stop shop for all the vital information during this time.

The Advice Centre is a free, independent and confidential service for all students here at Royal Holloway. Our friendly, experienced and professional staff will provide a listening ear and offer general and specialist advice. We’re here to support you with a whole range of issues, big and small, and if we’re not the best people to help you with a particular issue, we’ll point you in the right direction.

Email us at advice@su.rhul.ac.uk with any questions or to ask for a phone appointment.
