The key aim of the society is to offer a friendly, welcoming environment for all its members and associate members to learn new circus-based skills, and to practice and share existing skills, with particular focus on the following: Movements techniques, Ball juggling, Rng juggling, Club juggling, Hula Hoop, Devil stick, Diabolo, Poi, Contact staff, Contact Ball, Unicycle, Slackline, DIY toys
This is the calendar of the training sessions of the society for the term:
MEDICINE DANCE FLOOR: 28.09 – 26.10 – 09.11 – 07.12 ( 7PM - 8:30PM )
SU MAIN HALL: 05.10 – 19.10 – 02.11 – 23.11 (7PM - 9PM)
Weekly training sessions, 1 monthly meeting.
The Society will organise workshop sessions for the self-construction of the tools and toys used during the training sessions. The Society will organise at least one evening event each term in which every member can showcase the skill and ability learned during the training session (also public performance). The Society will organise small training groups according to individual skill levels to help everybody to improve in a relaxed and fun environment. Social events and invitation of external professional performers.
These Elections are for the full time and part time positions that make up the Students' Union Officer Team, Trustee Board, NUS delegates and College Council Rep.
All students who are members of the SU can vote in the elections.
