MTS: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Sunday Matinee

With upbeat yet compelling music by William Finn and an amazing book by Rachel Sheinkin, Spelling Bee is a fun, heartfelt, and exciting show! Four audience spellers compete in the spelling bee alongside the cast, so every show is different – and a little bit unexpected. The children’s emotional journeys develop through their songs, giving the audience a glimpse of their life at home and why every one of them is so desperate to win the spelling bee, and the adults have underlying storylines and backstories that come to light during the bee.
