For the first time since 2006, Royal Holloway will be making an appearance on TV's toughest quiz team tournament, University Challenge!

After years of near misses, the team led by captain George Harvey (Astrophysics) will be pitting their wits against four students from Cranfield University in a bid to reach the second stage of the competition. Jeremy Paxman, in his last series as host of the competition, asks the questions in the show which will be aired on BBC Two (20:30-21:00) on Monday 26 September 2022.

To celebrate the team's achievement, we'll be screening the show live at The Packhorse where you're welcome to join us for food and drinks - and of course to have a crack at answering some of those mind-boggling questions!
