Cybersecurity

Royal Holloway is renowned for its Cyber Security department and established the first Information Security higher-level education course worldwide. The cybersecurity society aims to create a space for students to share their knowledge on how to be more cyber-aware in their daily lives and conduct cyber security practicals ranging from everyday applications to more in-depth cyber exercises.

We believe this society would become an asset to Royal Holloway, supporting students alongside their academic and social studies and allowing them to explore a new area of interest with quizzes and off-campus trips or begin their careers through interactions with previous alumni and professionals.

You don't need to be a computer science or relevant subject student to join the Cybersecurity society. Everyone can be a victim of cybercrime so everyone has the right to be cyber aware. Join us to become cyber-aware and help us make others aware.
