External Trustee

First term of office: July 2023 - July 2026

About Me

I studied at Royal Holloway between 2008-12, and the time I spent as a member of bar staff at RHSU was a big contributor to my positive university experience. After graduating, I went on to develop a career in Higher Education, and now have over a decade of experience working in Student Engagement.

My experience

I currently work at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In my role as Student Partnership Manager, I oversee two student partnership programmes (where students contribute to the development of education at LSE), collaborate with LSESU staff and sabbatical officers on projects, and draw on research from across the sector to support colleagues with student engagement activity. I also have experience in Student Services and Residential Life, focusing specifically on new student induction/orientation; peer mentoring; communities and belonging; and advice and pastoral support.

Throughout my career, I have gained a deeper understanding and a profound respect for the work of Students’ Unions. I am delighted to be back, and volunteering my professional expertise as an external trustee for RHSU.
