Hi there I am Vaishnavi Vajja!

I am contesting for the role of PRESIDENT of RHUL!

I hope to be a bridge for you to have a fun, educational and a memorable university experience. I will be your voice and bring the changes you wish to see. I think being the older sibling, responsibility and leadership are in my blood so you can count on me.

• I’d like to introduce more student fieldtrips where everyone can take part in exploring new places along with your university mates and make wonderful memories.
• I plan to add more fun nights on the alternative days as well as the weekends when the SU or medicine are inactive so that packhorse won’t be your only option. Maybe even introduce more weekly fun activities in your halls of residence to enjoy with your fellow students.
• I would like to install more streetlights as it is very dark in certain areas of the university which can be scary and dangerous. I shall ask the security to patrol at night to make sure you feel safe.
• My goal is to find alternatives to make food and products in the SU shop cheaper as it is for students and in today’s cost of living crisis I think at least food on campus should be cheaper for students. And speaking of the cost-of-living crisis it can be even harder for international students to tackle all the expenses, so I’d like to ask the university for more funds for the students.
