Bright Ideas is back and it’s brighter than ever!

For those of you who are newer to Royal Holloway, Bright Ideas is an opportunity for students to submit an idea about something they’d like to change to improve their university experience, which then gets voted on by other students.

I have an idea, how do I submit it?

  1. Head to the Bright Ideas page and check out what ideas are already live.
  2. Read through our guidance document on what sort of ideas you can submit and how to structure your idea.
  3. Hit the ‘Submit an Idea’ button and enter your idea.

What happens next?

  1. Once you’ve submitted your idea, it will be received by the Student Voice team who will check that it’s suitable. We might also be able to help you expand your idea!
  2. If approved, the idea will go live on the platform for 14 days and students can vote whether they like the idea or not. We know we won’t be able to achieve every idea that comes through, but the more votes an idea receives, the higher a priority we understand it is for you!
  3. After fourteen days, the idea will then be forwarded to your President to identify the next steps.
  4. We will keep you up to date with the progress of your idea, and look to achieve wherever we can.
